[ARCHIVED] Vaccine Update March 15, 2021

More Rhode Islanders can now get the COVID19 vaccine:
• Age 60 and older
• Age 16 to 64 with certain health conditions
• Other groups based on occupation and residency

For more information on who is eligible for vaccination, visit www.C19vaccineRI.org or call 401-222-8022. When you become eligible, go to www.vaccinateri.org to view your vaccine options and make your appointment.

Please be patient, not everyone is going to get an appointment right away. There will be vaccine available for everyone. There are several contagious strains of COVID 19 now.

Remember to wear your mask even once you are vaccinated to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Your mask should fit snugly over your nose, mouth and chin without any gaps. KN-95 masks are recommended. Tightly woven, breathable cloth masks made of at least two layers are also a good option.

For additional information go to: https://covid.ri.gov/vaccination  or contact the State COVID-19 Hotline: 401-222-8022
