[ARCHIVED] Vaccine Update – March 8, 2021

There are now three COVID-19 vaccines available:
• Pfizer (two doses required)
• Moderna (two doses required)
• Janssen/Johnson & Johnson (one dose)

All three vaccine options are safe and will help protect you from getting different strains of COVID-19. They help prevent serious illness, hospitalization, and death. The best vaccine option for you is the one that is available to you first.

If you are eligible to get vaccinated, visit www.vaccinateri.org to view your vaccine options and make your appointment. The more people who get vaccinated with any of the available vaccines, the sooner the pandemic will end.

If you need help signing up for an appointment, call 2-1-1 anytime to talk to a trained specialist. Help is available in your native language. Assistance is also available to persons living with differing abilities.

COVID-19 vaccination is also offered at many CVS and Walgreens locations in Rhode Island. Contact your local pharmacy for more information.
