Westerly "Old" Town Beach season parking sticker passes will be sold at the Town Hall Tax Collector desk starting May 1st 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
We will pull up your tax bill when you arrive at the Tax Dept. You MUST be the named individual or business owner that is on the tax bill. Anyone can pick up the pass for you but they need to show your information.
Each Pass will have a license plate number on it. Please adhere them to the lower drivers’ side windshield. Pass # Must Match the Vehicle Plate.
OWNERS OF TIMESHARES are eligible for a season pass at Wuskenau Town Beach only.
RENTERS (full-time) of property in Westerly. You must show a lease of 1 year or more. Leases for less than 1 year are not eligible for a season pass.
WHAT WE WILL ABSOLUTELY NEED TO SEE!! ( NO EXCEPTIONS!! ): Residents or taxpayers Drivers License and the Registration of the car you will drive to the beach.
1: PROOF OF PROPERTY OWNERSHIP (residential/business)-Utility Bill, name must match Drivers License & Tax bill.
2: LICENSE shows that you are a Westerly resident or will reflect the name on the tax bill.
3: CAR REGISTRATION: Tax payer must own the vehicle you are driving to the beach. If it’s a leased vehicle, bring your lease.
IF YOU CANNOT DRIVE YOURSELF: ONE PASS will be issued to a driver. Multiple passes will not be allowed for all sons/daughters/grandchildren, care takers etc to drive the tax payer to the beach. You must provide: 1. Copy of the license or picture ID of the tax payer you will be driving. 2. The individual’s license who’s driving. 3. Utility bill of the tax payer you will be driving – address must match Tax bill. 4. Car registration of the driver.
4: ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY Residents or taxpayers individuals or their immediate families seeking the discounted rate must provide a deployment letter stating their active duty status or an ID card that states active duty along with their license and registration.
5: DISABLED Residents or taxpayers seeking the discounted rate must provide us your state issued Handicapped Parking Permit, NO EXCEPTIONS.
MAIL INS will be accepted Monday. MAY 1st. Allow 2 weeks for turn around. Make sure you write “Beach Pass” on the envelope. Town of Westerly Beach Pass 45 Broad Street Westerly, RI 02891 Please send: 1. Copy of License, 2. Copy of Registration 3. Self addressed stamped envelope 4. Check made out to Town of Westerly 5. Make sure you give phone number so we can reach you if need be.

WESTERLY "OLD" TOWN BEACH – Available only to Town Residents or Westerly Tax Payers
SEASON PASSES– Only sold at the Westerly Town Hall / Tax Department. Resident / Tax Payer $70 per pass Senior (62 yrs old)/Active Duty Military / Disabled $45 per pass.
WUSKENAU “NEW” TOWN BEACH - Only sold at the Wuskenau Town Beach. Anyone, from any state, can buy one.
DAY PASSES - Is an adjustable rate that varies throughout the day. Credit Cards Only!
SEASON PASSES - Season passes for this beach can be purchased at Wuskenau beach starting Memorial Day weekend. Credit Cards Only!
COTTAGE PASSES - are available for $250 at Wuskenau Beach. Must be able to prove property ownership. Cottage Passes allow guests with a pass to park at the Wuskenau and Tourist Booth Parking Lots. There is no limit per household. Credit Cards only.
