As part of our water main maintenance program, The Town of Westerly Water Department will continue flushing water mains nightly from Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. All residents are urged to use caution while using their water, which may stain clothing and fixtures. This condition is temporary. Water will clear when the tap is run to waste for a short period of time. 

The Westerly Water Department thanks you for your understanding and cooperation.

Beginning Tuesday, June 17, the areas to be flushed are the areas adjacent to Dunn’s Corners, Post Road, Shelter Harbor and Bradford.

Beginning Tuesday, June 10, the areas to be flushed are the areas adjacent to Dunn’s Corners, Weekapaug Road, Post Road, and Shelter Harbor.

Beginning Tuesday, June 3, the areas to be flushed are the areas adjacent to Shore Road, Weekapaug Road, and Post Road.

Beginning Tuesday, May 28, the areas to be flushed are the areas adjacent to Misquamicut Road, Shore Road and Weekapaug Road.

Beginning Monday, May 20, the areas to be flushed are the areas adjacent to Winnapaug Road, Ocean View Highway, Post Road, Shore Road, Atlantic Ave. & Avondale.
