NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

 

 

37 & 37A Canal Street Comprehensive Permit

37 & 37A Canal Street – Assessor’s Map 46, Lot 25

Comprehensive Permit – Combined Master & Preliminary Plan Review

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the Westerly Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in the Council Chambers of Westerly Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Westerly, RI at 6:00 PM ET, or as close to that time as possible, on the Combined Master & Preliminary Plan of the Comprehensive Permit at the subject property noted above and as described below:

 

The application proposes conversion of an existing two-family house and a commercial building in the DC-2 Zoning District to a total of three (3) residential rental units each with one bedroom, one unit of which will be deed restricted to low and moderate income (LMI) individuals, at 37 & 37A Canal Street.

 

During this Public Hearing, all interested persons shall be given the opportunity to provide comments and/or concerns and may submit oral testimony or written materials which may be entered into the record.

 

Plans and information are available for review at the Westerly Planning Office located in the lower level of Westerly Town Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM ET. Please note that said plans and information may be altered or amended prior to the close of the Public Informational Meeting without further advertisement as a result of further study, or because of the views expressed at the Public Informational Meeting.

 

Any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of said Public Informational Meeting.
