With a significant winter storm on the way, the Town asks you to keep in mind....

Please stay off the roads during the storm if possible

Expect a parking ban to go into effect once there is enough snow for our crews to begin plowing the streets. 
During a parking ban there is NO PARKING ON ANY TOWN ROADS
Parking on town roads during a parking ban will result in the vehicle being ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.

In the event of an extended power outage, which is not anticpated at this time, shelters will be available at the following locations:

     Westerly Senior Center 
     39 State Street
     
     Westelry Animal Shelter 
     33 Larry Hirsch Lane

Please make sure:
     all of your phones and devices are charged
     you have batteries for flashlights
