At Risk Resident Program
The Westerly Police Department is currently updating our database for our “At Risk Residents” who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, other forms of dementia, or medical conditions that may cause an individual to wander or put themselves at risk.
If individuals are currently registered with any other organizations, it would still be beneficial to have them entered locally with our department to help that individual, should they need assistance. This database can also be accessed through a cross-agency check through our neighboring police departments if needed.
This database is open to all Westerly residents. These are individuals that are at risk and may have contact with this department, other emergency services, or individuals throughout this community. It will certainly help facilitate the safety of these individuals and also help better prepare all emergency services that may be in contact at a time of crisis.
If you know any individuals that fits this profile please contact the officers listed below. We hope that we will not need to utilize any of these services but in the event that we do, we will be better prepared to deal with the situation at hand. Please click on the link below for an application that will help us update the database. We ask that you provide us with a current picture and all pertinent information to enable us to better serve our community.
Thank you for your continued support.
