Route 1 Corridor Plan

The Town of Westerly developed a plan to revitalize the Route One Corridor. The overall goal of this study was to encourage the type of development that improves functionality and reflects Westerly’s character and charm. The Route One Corridor Study provides assessment and strategic actions for six general topic areas, which include travel, infrastructure, aesthetics, housing, economics, and development regulation.
